Once Chromebook Recovery Utility has finished, you will boot your Chromebook by following the displayed instructions. If not, you will need to insert your media and hit continue, and it will initiate the creation process to your designated media. If you happen to have an image file already, you have the option to use that via the settings icon located at the top right of the interface and select Use Local Image. You can either enter it yourself or choose from the provided list. You will need to enter the specific Chromebook model so the extension can provide the correct recovery image. It is presented as a Google Chrome extension allowing immediate access if your device has issues and needs to be recovered. Chromebook Recovery Utility provides you with a recovery option to create recovery media (USB key or SD card) for your Chromebook.
